Felt strips, natural cotton thread.

This abstract piece is made from loops of felt strips stitched together. It began as an intuitive arrangement of material but took on the feeling of a chandelier as it responded to light. The shifting shadows become part of the work, suggesting something familiar and domestic, yet slightly elevated and transformed.
