Cow horn is a byproduct of the food industry, and it usually ends up in the trash––but their artisan partners in Mexico are repurposing and upcycling the material to create beautiful items for the home.
Made by talented artisans from Chilapa de Álvarez in the state of Guererro, Mexico, makers in this area have been using the same techniques for centuries. These talented craftspeople have joined together to create a co-op with a unifying core mission – the preservation of culture and the economic reactivation of the artisan sector in the region.
